Athens Community Theater

Athens Community Theater has been the home of the Town & Gown Players since 1969.  The building was erected and given to the municipal government by Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Mathis; the architect was Robert Nicholls. The playhouse doubles as scene shop, costume shop, and materials warehouse for the Players.
